How long it took me to heal
Everyone goes through difficult times. The question usually isn’t IF we are going to experience pain in our life, but WHEN, and how we deal with it ultimately determines whether we grow or not. In my experience, I’ve found that most of us at least try our best to deal with pain constructively when it comes up because we inherently know just doing nothing and giving up won’t get us anywhere. So it’s not for a lack of trying. I think the issue lies in the tools/methodology we use and the expectations we have around healing.
If can be very frustrating going from book to book, program to program, course to course, spending all kinds of money on things that aren’t working. You read all the testimonials from people that are getting results and you ask “when will this happen for me?”. I know because I was there. Buying every book and program I could to heal from my severe anxiety and insomnia. That’s one of the reasons why I do what I do; so I can help people reduce stress with tools and products that work consistently and predictably.
So what happens when you find a tool that you finally trust and know in your gut works, and you don’t start seeing results? You start asking the same question “when will this happen for me?” and you feel like you’ve run out of options. This was me for about the first year and a half when I started doing The Healing Codes and if it’s one thing I learned, it’s that true healing takes time and might be what’s best long term.
When I first came across The Healing Codes, I thought I was going to be one of those people that do it for a few weeks and everything that I needed to be healed would heal. I didn’t want to go months and months at a snails pace because I was sick and tired of being sick and tired. Looking back, I now realize that healing “overnight” wouldn’t have been the best thing for me because of everything I needed to learn and experience. It took me a little over a year to finally get to a place where my insomnia and anxiety wasn’t bothering me anymore and several months after that where I actually started seeing vast improvements in my sleep. It wasn’t until later in my journey I really started understanding why everyone’s journey is different when it comes to these issues.
We are accustomed in today’s society that if we have pain, we can take something like a pill, or go do something pleasurable and our paint will go away. This is how most of us live our lives and it comes from our pain/pleasure programming that is hardwired into us. However, when we only address our physical, emotional and mental pain as it comes up, we are only addressing a symptom of the actual issue. So we might experience relief for a period of time, but the core issue is still inside of us, and will be until it’s permanently healed. That’s why with The Healing Codes, healing looks very different, because we addressing and healing the source, which is our memories.
When we start healing our memories, which are in the spiritual realm meaning we can’t physically see them, things don’t happen in a linear fashion. There are an infinite number of scenarios and circumstances that could determine how one person heals versus another. That’s because all our memories, and therefore our issues, are very unique to us. One example that relates perfectly to this is two men who came to The Healing Codes with identical health issues. One healed in a few weeks and the other took over a year. This is because their symptoms were the same but the source of their issues were very different and the one who took longer to heal had deeper programming that needed healing. However, the person who took longer to heal also found that when he did heal, every area of his life vastly improved, while the other just simply had a health issue go away. This is because our memories affect all areas of our life and as they heal, we find our circumstances begin to change.
